IG25 de Mayo IG
This is the largest vineyard department in the province, and it has shrunk the most. It lost 1,325 hectares between 2015 and 2024.
I haven't found anything published about wine from 25 de Mayo as a place, so there's no house style to describe yet. Of its 5,292 hectares of wine grapes, Cereza and Pedro Giménez account for about 42%. If a bottle shows up with 25 de Mayo on it, Bonarda, Malbec or Syrah are what I'd expect to be pouring.
