IGBarreal IG
Barreal and Hilario, both on the right bank of the Los Patos, have the oldest vineyards in the valley. The IG was announced in late 2013 at the Soevin Calingasta symposium. At that point the INV counted 13 hectares in three vineyards and one winery.
Entre Tapias is that winery. The Ossa family runs it, with Pedro Pelegrina as winemaker, and a 2017 report put the winery at 1,650 metres with a vineyard of two and a half hectares, making Malbec, Pinot Gris and Cabernet Sauvignon. Cara Sur makes its wines in a small winery beside Pancho Bugallo and Nuria Añó's home in the village.
I'd look for the old-vine Moscatel and Criolla Chica bottlings next to the Malbec.
