Cruz del Eje IG

Cruz del Eje is a small and shrinking area. It had 26.7 hectares in 2016 and 12.9 in 2025, a drop of 51.5%. Every vine in the INV's 2025 table is a red wine grape, and Malbec and Syrah make up almost all of it. The INV records no wine made in the department in 2025, and its last recorded grape harvest was 71 quintales in 2024.

I haven't found a winery tied to the department, so I'm not naming one.
