Tinogasta IG

Tinogasta is the biggest wine department in Catamarca by a wide margin.

Veralma, on Route 60 at La Aguadita, is part of Altos de Tinogasta, an investor project with about 200 owners of parcels. It has 54 hectares planted on a 300 hectare estate, drip irrigation and a solar park. A buried lagoon with a 34°C thermal spring supplies the water. The lines are Seismiles, Entretantos and La Gesta. Tierra de Volcanes, run by Carlos Longo, farms in Tinogasta too, and Tizac makes a Malbec Reserva from Tinogasta grapes.

I'd look for reds with colour and a bit of freshness from the cold nights.
