The INV's 2025 report shows a rise of just 0.3 hectares in Valle Fértil since 2016. A 2012 report described Finca Don Antonio at Baldes de las Chilcas, on Ruta 511, where one family planted vines in 2003 and made the first wines in 2005 under the Sabores Terrenales name. It had about 1.5 hectares of Torrontés, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Montepulciano, Syrah and Tannat, and the report says summers are rainy while winters are dry.
