Boysenberry and mulberry arrive very ripe in the 2024 Corazon del Sol Malbec from the Uco Valley, dark and forward with loads of personality. Crushed slate and a lick of star anise run beneath the fruit, adding shade without complicating the picture. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, and the finish is solid and squarely built on fruit rather than a high-boned structure. Did I just find my daily drinker?
