Cabernet Franc is an outlier in the Uco Valley, and the 2023 Corazon del Sol Revana Vineyard Cabernet Franc makes a quiet case for it on lift rather than weight. Red currant and wild strawberry come through cleanly, with crushed juniper and a cool graphite line underneath and no green note anywhere. Elevated acidity runs the length of the wine and keeps the fruit narrow and precise, never letting it spread into sweetness. Gritty tannins and a trace of espresso bean close a long, dry finish.
